Christos Consoulas (PhD) is an Associated Professor at the Laboratory of Experimental Physiology, Medical School, National & Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) and Adjunct Professor at the Arizona Research Laboratories Department of Neuroscience (ARLDN), University of Arizona, USA.
He received a Civil Engineering BSc (1993) from the Polytechnical School of Aristotelian University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), a BSc in Biology (1997) from the Department of Biology, AUTH and his PhD from the Biology Department of AUTH (Laboratory of Animal Physiology and Department of Zoology, George August University of Göttingen, Germany). He was awarded the Fogarty Fellowship from the National Institute of Health (NIH, USA) in 1992. His research is focused on post-embryonic development and aging of sensory-motor neural circuits in the genetic-model system of Drosophila. He has authored multiple papers in peer-reviewed international journals.
